What a meaningful statement that was! She meant that Gurudev hadn't met her personally, but in his thoughtfulness he had left behind a legacy that she and many like her would treasure forever.

Gurudev's personality was electrifying, He looked like lightning, spoke like thunder, gurgled like a brook, shot like an arrow and relaxed like a King. In and through all this, he taught with crystal-clear clarity and loved & embraced the whole world.

There was never a dull moment when he was around and even dejected souls would lighten up in his presence.

Till date, his words, actions, jokes, letters, lectures, photos and books carry the fragrance of his presence - attractive, dynamic and strong, yet soft, kind and understanding.
