Ravana of Ramayana times was no different from people who presently stop at nothing to get to the top.

In the famous Shri Rama-Ravana battle, symbolizing the war between the righteous and unrighteous, Ravana was armed to the teeth, well protected with armour and shield on a mission-studded battle chariot. Vibhishana felt that Shri Rama without any chariot or armour and only with his bow and a quiver of arrows would be no match for the mighty Ravana.

Shri Rama explains to Vibhishana the strategy of triumph which is applicable even today in each of our lives. He describes in Vibhishana Geeta how well he was equipped with inner values which alone bring lasting success and happiness.
